Sidley aiming to finish on a high

Although inconsistent results may have ended their title defence, joint managers Glen Sully and Peter Heritage are still hoping to finish as high as possible.

The introduction of youngster Shae Spreafico has been the biggest recent plus for United, as joint manager Glen Sully explained: "We haven't been giving much away at the back but going forward we've lacked a creative edge.

"This boy is very good on the ball and if we get it up to him he could be a great asset.

"He deserves a go in the first team and I'm not talking about one or two games or covering for injuries, we're giving him a chance because he's been doing well."

Peter Baker should be fit again after a bout of flu kept him out of the last two games but United could still be missing Owen Ball, Adam Day, Paul Sully and Jimmy Watson.

Sidley visit Whitehawk on Monday.
