Sidley boss sets tough target

SIDLEY United joint manager Peter Heritage has set his team a stiff target of winning all six of their remaining Sussex Division One matches.

United rediscovered the winning formula when they got the better of Littlehampton last weekend and Heritage hopes to keep the run of success going until the end of the season.

He said: "Our aim is to win them all. With the players we have got, we have got to be in the top half of the table. Fifth place is out of the question but it's no good us being in the bottom half of the table.

"If we get stuck in and show commitment we will be alright. We want to finish on a high - we can't let the season go flat. If the players want to we might just as well get the under-18s in."

Sidley visit Hassocks on Saturday April 5 without Chris Copley, Adam Day and Owen Ball who are attending Copley's wedding.
