Sidley lose third on the trot

SIDLEY United suffered their third defeat in a row in a 1-0 home reverse against Redhill on Saturday.

The defeat was United's fifth of the season and leaves them in 7th place in Sussex Division One with 20 points from their first 13 games of the season.

Herve King got the only goal of the game after 4 minutes with a powerful header from a corner to give the visitors their second win of the campaign.

United manager Peter Heritage said: "It was a terrible game from our point of view and we seem to be lacking in confidence at the moment. We shouldn't be losing at home to teams like that."
