Sidley on their travels

SIDLEY United are in cup action again on Saturday October 27 with a trip across the county to Selsey in the John O Hara League Cup.

United are in buoyant mood after their 7-0 thrashing against struggling Southwick in midweek.

Selsey will be a tougher challenge however, as along with Sidley and Burgess Hill they are the only unbeaten sides in the top flight.

United welcome back Dave Carey but will be without Paul Balch who has work commitments.

Bexhill Town return to their Sussex County Division Three survival campaign with a trip to Haywards Heath Town.

The Green Machine were knocked out of the Division Three Challenge Cup by Steyning Town last week but the 3-2 score was a lot closer than their 5-0 defeat by the same club earlier in the season.

Caretaker manager Mark Simpson has picked up two wins for the club since taking over and has seen a marked improvement on the pitch and in their league position.
