Sidley return to winning ways

SIDLEY United got back to winning ways on Saturday with a 2-1 victory over Wick.

Their title defence continues to fade however, as there is no sign of runaway leaders Burgess Hill Town slowing down as they recorded a 2-1 win over Pagham.

Wick took the lead just past the half hour mark with Morby getting the crucial touch.

United had to wait until the second half before drawing level with Owen Ball adding his name to the scoresheet.

Chris Scott finally put Sidley ahead and they held out for the win but the gap between United and Town is still a massive 19 points, although The Blues do have three games in hand.
