Siya aims to get a ton of runs

LITTLEHAMPTON Cricket Club had their second game cancelled this season owing to the weather on Saturday. Their match at Haywards Heath was called off without a ball being bowled.

Their overseas player, South African, Siya Sibiya has been a bright spark already this season. In his three innings, he has twice got into the 60s and his target now is a hundred.

He said: "It's been great. I'm loving it here. Everyone has been so supportive.

"I'm doing all right and I just want to get a 100. That's a personal target and then if I do get a hundred opening the batting, it will put the team in a good position. We're stabilising ourselves at the top of the table."
