Sophia’s delight at GB selection

WORTHING Harriers’ Sophia Warner was confirmed in the Great Britain Paralympic team for the London 2012 Games on Tuesday.

The 38-year-old sprinter has been selected for the T35 100m, 200m and 4x100m relay. This is her first Paralympics because the T35 classification has not been featured before.

She is one of 49 members chosen in the GB Paralympic team and she said: “I’m so thrilled and proud to be named as a member of the Paralympics GB Team.
