Bridger helps Eagles into lead
Lewis Bridger was part of the Eastbourne Eagles side which won the first leg of the Elite League Play-Off final.
The Bexhill-based rider helped Eagles to a 49-41 victory at home to favourites Poole Pirates in front of the Sky Sports cameras on Monday night.
Bridger scored 5+1 points from his four rides at Arlington Stadium as the Eagles go into Monday night’s return clash at Wimborne Road with an eight-point advantage.

Hide AdEagles manager Trevor Geer told Sky Sports: “It’s been a fantastic meet from start to finish and that last race (when Eagles took a 4-2) has given us a bit of confidence for when we go down to Poole - they can be beaten.”
