Sports editor hangs up pen
The longest serving Observer sports editor ever is hanging up his pen.
Simon Carey, who has brought you all the goings on from the local sporting scene for the last 19 years, is leaving the organisation today.
Simon would like to thank the many contributors to the sports pages for their support over the years.
