'But we were 2-0 up with 85 minutes gone and we should have seen it out. We never passed the ball enough and allowed ourselves to be forced too deep.

'My lads are an honest bunch and held up their hands afterwards and I don't suppose they got a lot of sleep last night.

'It was our fault and we must take it on the chin. Now we must see how they react in the RUR Cup at home to Lingfield on Saturday.

'There are no big-time Charlies here and the boys have done well and the club's done well financially from our cup games.'
