IT'S second versus third in Conference South tomorrow as Lewes travel to south-east London for a clash with Welling.Manager Steve King is expecting a tussle.

He said: 'They are a obviously a quality side, a physically powerful team who are having a good run at the moment and who operate well as a unit.

King asked the Express to encourage fans to travel, saying support on the road is crucial and numbers need to rise.

Rooks followers who make the trip are likely to see a repeat of the Louis-Sigere front pairing.

Steve said: 'Jefferson's pedigree is unquestionable. I'm delighted to have signed him and we can expect some fantastic performances.'

Asked about Lewes' inability to beat 10-man Cambridge City last week he said: "Ten men often fight harder than eleven and you've still got to break down two banks of four.

'We had as many chances as they did and the game could have gone either way. We've only lost one in 13 league games and the mood is obviously good in the camp.'
