Elsewhere, Kieran Bonner (Horsham Spinners) won bronze in the morning Band C, Josh Denton (Spinners) and Oscar Harvey (Horsham) took second and third in Band D, and in the afternoon Anish Padalkar won the Band C.

Meanwhile, in the Crawley & Horsham League Premier Division Horsham A beat Firesters B 7-2.

Title challengers Horsham needed a good result to maintain their position and trebles from Dan Barna and Steve Barby did just that.

Dave Steel and Csaba Balint posted one each for Foresters.

A treble for man of the match Steve Hoad, two for Erik Van Mol and a single for Marc Weston put six points into the Horsham kit bag.

The two other results saw Trinity A beat Foresters 7-2 with three each for Joe Comper and John Robinson, while Crawley Community B showed no mercy in beating Horsham C 8-1.
