Talented girls join Albion academy

A PAIR of talented young girls footballers have been selected to join the Brighton & Hove Albion academy.

Sophia Willis, 11, and nine-year-old Mary Flint are both products of the Southern Association Football Academy's development centre. The former has been training with SAFA for three years and the latter for two.

SAFA director Lloyd Biggs said: "Both the girls have worked really hard over the last few years to improve their all-round game and I am very pleased that they have been rewarded for their efforts. Hopefully this will encourage future young female soccer stars to come and play the game."
