Smart and Stainsby made a good start, but they dropped a six on the seventh end and never fully recovered.

Taylor and Bray-Allen won 26-15.

After a short break, Taylor was back for his handicap singles clash with Alban Morgan.

Morgan started two shots down on handicap and was never able to close the gap, going down 21-19.
