Thunder then travel to leaders Essex Leopards on Sunday but know that the Bradford game is the must-win fixture.

Thunder coach Daniel Hildreth said: “We have approached the last two games as if they were play-off matches but the big one is Saturday at home to Bradford.

“If we come away with the win, we will have all but secured a play-off spot.

“This season has been a crazy one but we know it’s just about making the play-offs.

“Anyone can beat anyone in this league, home or away.

“The final positions of all eight places will be decided in the last few games of the season.

“Bradford have a very talented team and, in the two previous games this season against them, there has been just three points difference.

“If we continue to play the type of basketball that we have in the last few matches, I am sure that we will be fine and get the victory.”
