Tone Zone runners race into 2015 action

Following a busy period for Bognor’s Tone Zone Runners and a new intake of enthusiastic new members, the club have been braving the cold for more race action.

The Stubbington Green 10k, a popular race, saw Tony Hancock finish in 46.42 for the club. The fast-paced local race saw the club represented by six runners, all completing the course in under an hour.

Several Tone Zone members took part in the Hell Runner, with Sarah Santer finishing first for the club in 2hr 17min 14sec. It’s a popular event incorporating the Bog of Doom and many difficult obstacles which puts many runners off, and was thoroughly enjoyed by those which attended.

Joan Wooley ran the Lakeside canal Rrun in 1.20.05, a multi-terrain run covering eight miles of the Surrey countryside.
