Top marks for talented young disabled riders

NOTHING could dampen the spirits of young disabled riders from Mid Sussex who braved heavy downpours at the Riding for the Disabled (RDA) National Championships held at Hartpury, Gloucestershire.

Despite the awful conditions these talented young riders secured top marks to win the Team Countryside Challenge Trophy.

Representing Court Meadow Group Riding for the Disabled, they competed against teams from all over the UK at this premier event in the RDA calendar.

Over the years Court Meadow Group RDA has been well represented at Hartpury by local children, all of whom have special needs and severe learning difficulties.

They are all pupils at Court Meadow School, Cuckfield, and through their weekly riding tuition with the Court Meadow Group have worked hard to develop their personal skills and confidence to compete at national level.
