Town need to put dismal defeat behind them

RELEGATION battlers Bexhill Town desperately need to put a dismal defeat at the hands of fellow strugglers Ifield behind them on Saturday February 23 when they travel to high-flying Pease Pottage Village.

The Sussex Three side are currently third from bottom and in real danger of dropping out of the County League as only three points separate them from basement club Ansty Rangers.

Even more worrying is that Uckfield, the team directly below them have four games in hand.

Gary Light's side will be positive for tomorrow's game however, as they usually turn in good performances against better quality opposition such as promotion chasing Pease Pottage.

Sussex One champions Sidley United take on Wick away on Saturday and entertain Ringmer on Tuesday night at 7.45pm.
