Veteran Horse Society is thriving

LAUNCHED more than five years ago as a welfare organisation, the Veteran Horse Society has grown to include various specialist departments and is thriving.

It is concerned about speculation that it has changed its name and ethos and wants to assure everyone that nothing has changed and it is still undertaking its valuable work.

In fact, it is expanding to include sponsorship of local shows and is looking for venues in West Sussex that would be keen to hold area qualifiers for its championship shows.

Its specialist departments include: showing, headed by Clare Frost; rehoming, headed by Charlotte Morgan; dressage, headed by Emma Holland; and welfare and rehabilitation, headed by director Julianne Aston.
