VIDEO: Chi Half Marathon is a winner again

It was a record number for an event revived in 2012 which has becoming inmcreasingly popular each year since.
Chichester’s James Baker has won the race each year since it was brought back and this year was never going to be an exception - and this time he smashed his own course record of 1hr 12min 24sec - coming hom in 1.11.52.

Hide AdHe was several minutes ahead of his nearest challenger, another Chichester athlete, Peter Concannon, who finished in 1.18.25 while Cassie Thorp won the women’s race in her first time around the course - crossing the line in 1.29.47.


The race was organised by Chichester District Council and city-basecd charity Children on the Edge, and weather conditions - dry and no wind - were perfect for the runners.
