The two teams faced off against each other in their first Division 1 fixture of the new campaign.

It was the A team that took the plaudits as captain Brian Lee led his side to victory over Paul Wilson’s men.

It was a 98-53 victory for the A side, who won on three rinks and lost on one as they claimed eight points.

That haul took them to second in the table behind early leaders Chichester A, who have played two matches.

Pavilion’s B side picked up two points, but have an early shot at revenge in the return fixture on Saturday.
