Ryan also plays for Kingston Wildcats who won the Surrey U12 league in a separate cup final and this is the first time that a player has been in teams winning both leagues and finals in Surrey and in Sussex in a single season. Ryan also won the Most Valuable Player award at both finals.

In May Ryan flew to Sweden as Captain of England’s National Team Select to participate in Europe’s largest youth basketball tournament. The team played in the U13 age group and went undefeated throughout the group and playoff stages of the competition. After winning the Final they became the first team from Great Britain to win in the 36 years that the tournament has been run.
