Watch for Max factor in the new F3 season

MOTOR racing ace Max Chilton continues to make a name for himself as he enters his second season as a Formula 3 racer.

The Ardingly College student had a roaring success in 2007, his first season racing Formula 3 cars, after becoming the youngest person ever to race F3, breaking the record previously held by Nelson Piquet Jnr.

Now aged 17, Max has just gained the accolade of being the youngest driver ever to achieve a pole position in F3.

He claimed his first pole position at Monza in May and his second at Rockingham on Spring Bank Holiday Monday, when he had his second podium finish '“ both times as the top British driver.

Max brought his Hitech Racing Dallara home fourth at Monza and third at Rockingham, where he gave an amazing performance in torrential conditions.
