Wellshurst set up Highwoods date
Wellshurst pulled off a fine victory in the second round of the Davies & Tate Plate inter-club knockout competition on Saturday when they defeated Willingdon 8-4.
Wellshurst will visit Highwoods in the quarter-finals on Saturday, July 15. The rest of the draw is Brighton & Hove v Ifield, Eastbourne Downs v Ham Manor and Tilgate Forest v Royal Eastbourne.
Saturday's results:- The Dyke lost to Brighton & Hove 7-5, Wellshurst beat Willingdon 8-4, Highwoods beat Bognor Regis 7.5-4.5, West Chiltington lost to Ham Manor 7-5, Waterhall lost to Tilgate Forest 7.5-4.5, Selsey lost to Ifield 6.5-5.5, Royal Eastbourne beat West Sussex 8.5-3.5, Eastbourne Downs beat Hollingbury Park 8-4.
