WES INJURY BLOW FOR GOLDS

LITTLEHAMPTON goalkeeper Wes Hallett's injury somewhat dampened Golds' celebrations after an excellent win against second-placed Crowborough on Saturday.

Hallett broke his knee cap in his right knee after a 50-50 challenge with a Crowborough striker with Littlehampton 2-1 up. Golds' boss Carl Stabler believes the earliest Hallett will return will be eight weeks so for Saturday's game at Redhill, veteran keeper Mick Phillips will go in goal.
