WEST SUSSEX HORSE ON PAINTING MARKING DIAMOND JUBILEE

A WEST Sussex horse is featured on a triptych of paintings by renowned equine artist Nikki Moore featuring great British bred or trained horses and ponies to celebrate The British Horse Society's Diamond Jubilee year.

Each panel of the three-part painting has its own theme: Sports and Performance horses, Working horses and, on the third panel, Breeds and Types.

Lancelot, a thoroughbred owned, ridden and trained by Job Dudeney is featured in the middle left of the painting. He has competed in mthe last two Royal Tournaments at Earls Court and was placed in the Tent Pegging and SAA competitions on both occasions.

The artist originally conceived the idea for the triptych at a previous Badminton Horse Trials when she was creating a painting of the BHS stand. The third panel will be unveiled on the BHS stand at Burghley on August 31.
