What a Bank Holiday weekend for the Haywards Heath Harriers.

The ladies under 20/senior ladies took home silver medals for the 4x100m team relays at the Sussex County event at the K2.

Sunday saw 15 Haywards Heath Harriers head to Rye for the latest 10miler part of the Sussex Grand Prix Series. A great day for the club with Harrier Josh Pewter in 2nd overall place with a super run on an undulating course completing in 1.01:27. First lady overall and winning for the Harriers Izzy Coomber in 14th position overall with 1.06:16. The club had 3 top 10 places with Phil Radford taking 6th in 1.02:34 and 9th for Mark Davies in 1.04:04 in a talented field of almost 200. There was a fantastic course PB for fit and firing Andy Biggs with 1.06:57. Anne Sinnett was 50th with 1.13:14 and Mike Scholes 41st and 1.12:23 and both won their age categories.

Graham Jenner was home in 1.15:48, 1.16:02 for Maresa Pitt and close by Howard Booth 1.16:07. 1.23:29 for Amanda Soper, 1.24:56 Michelle Pearce, 1.32:35 Debbie Day, 1.43:44 Michelle Holdstock. A tremendous effort 1.46:31 for Natalie Chivers. Natalie is ‘blooming’ close to her due date and still actively competing in races for the Harriers at almost 8 months pregnant.
