Mile Oak were denied all three points by a last-minute 2-2 equaliser at East Grinstead in County League Division 2.

In the same division, Steyning suffered a 1-0 home reverse to Seaford.

Southwick reached the first round of the Brighton Charity Cup with two Paul Elliott strikes in their 2-1 preliminary round win over Storrington.

Southwick Hockey Club remain fourth in the Kent-Sussex League Division 1 after a 8-4 victory against Mid-Sussex.
