RICHARD CARTER blasted home a hat-trick of penalties for Shoreham Football Club in their 3-2 victory over Redhill on Saturday in County League Division 1.Carter had given Mussels a 2-0 lead before scoring the winner in the final minute.
In Division 2, Neil Harris gave Southwick the lead against Sidlesham but Wickers failed to hold on and drew 1-1.
Holders Mile Oak and Steyning Town both progressed in the Division 2 Cup and will now face each other in the second round on Saturday. Oak defeated Saltdean 4-2 with a hat-trick for Paul Eaton and Steyning beat Broadbridge Heath 2-1.
