What next for Denman, Kauto Star and Big Buck's? Find out at Fontwell

FESTIVAL race-goers at Fontwell Park will get an exclusive chance to hear about top trainer Paul Nicholls' plans for his leading horses.

Nicholls will talk about Kauto Star, Denman and Big Buck’s, as well as some of the younger stars at his yard, on the first day of the track’s two-day jump festival on Friday, September 30.

One of jump racing’s leading owners, Andy Stewart, will also be present at the event in Fontwell House.

Fontwell Park general manager Phil Bell said: “This is something quite exciting for jump-racing fans. They’re two of the biggest names in the sport.

“Former jockey Colin Brown will chair the discussion, which will start at 12.45pm.

“Punters will be able to hear about plans for the old stars such as Kauto Star, Big Bucks and Denman plus some of the exciting new horses in the yard.”

Tickets are £25, including a Premier Enclosure badge and tea or coffee and biscuits. Annual members need pay only £3 for the refreshments.

The first race is at 2.10pm as the two-day £100,000 festival gets under way. Call 01243 543335 for details.
