IT WAS smiles all round at Old Barn Way on Saturday with Southwick collecting an essential victory in the battle to avoid the drop at the season's end.
With Littlehampton and Sidlesham also winning the points were absolutely vital.
A diving header from Wickers captain Jamie Ash six minutes from time stopped their three-match losing streak and rescued this match as being remembered more for the substitution of the referee rather than the football.
