WICKERS ON THE SPOT

SAMMY DONNELLY'S new-look Southwick side came back from the dead to score three times in the final quarter of an hour for a smash and grab victory at the Oval on Saturday.

The win, which looked highly unlikely in the opening hour, drags Wickers level on points with fourth-bottom Sidlesham both clubs having played the same number of games.

A win for Wickers in this vital relegation battle was the last result anyone would have envisaged after a first-half totally dominated by United. But a huge half-time rollicking by Donnelly did the trick.
