Youth football club honoured
BEXHILL Town Youth have become the latest football club in the locality to receive a Charter Standard Award from the FA.
The accolade is only presented to an elite band of clubs who have undertaken a variety of good practice measures from possessing FA qualified coaches, members with a certificated knowledge of first aid and the provision of decent standard amenities.
The considerable endeavours of the club satisfied the game's governing body and Sussex County FA official Kevin Tharme was pleased to present the award to Town secretary Graham Fletcher at the Polegrove before Bexhill United's opening Sussex Division Three home match.
