ACTIVITY SESSIONS: Mystery games and bunny hunt in Littlehampton

FUN and games are planned for Litlehampton's parks over the Easter holidays.

The town council and Inspire Leisure have organised two free out-and-about sessions, for children aged five to 11.

The first will be at Mewsbrook Park, from 10am to noon on Wednesday (April 7), and the second at Brookfield Park at the same time on April 14.

The first event has been put together with the help of the friends of

Mewsbrook Park and its concessionaries, and will raise funds for Chestnut Tree House children's hospice.

On offer at both will be a bunny hunt, where young detectives are invited to solve a mystery, and win a prize, bouncy castles, drawing and relay games.

There will also be the chance for children to design their ideal garden, with the best idea being used as a poster for the town's entry into the South East In Bloom 2010 competition.

Dr James Walsh, chairman of the council's community resources committee, said: "Our town is a great place to be during the Easter holidays, with many attractions and things to do.

"Littlehampton has fantastic natural resources and we would like to see residents and visitors enjoying them."

All children must be accompanied by an adult. For more information, call 01903 732063 or e-mail [email protected]
