Frank Carter and the Rattlesnakes, Tourist, and Anna Calvi among 120 acts added to The Great Escape 2019 line-up

The Great Escape has announced 120 more acts to play this year’s internationally renowned festival.

New confirmed acts include massive break-out artists such as Conan Gray, Confidence Man, Du Blonde, Leisure,, Little Simz, Mini Mansions, The Amazons and Tourist as well as Frank Carter & the Rattlesnakes, Anna Calvi, Black Peaks, Lady Bird, Our Girl and Pigs Pigs Pigs Pigs Pigs Pigs Pigs, who will play at guitar giant Fender’s all-new home at The Old Market.

Venues all over the city will once again host hundreds of exciting performers at the annual music industry celebration of new music.

The event, which is now in its 19th year, will feature more than 450 acts from all over the world, performing at 35 walkable venues across the town from May 8-May 11.n

A further 150 acts are still to be announced.

Tickets start from £60 and are on sale here, with day tickets and two-day tickets on sale.

This year the festival marks it’s third year of partnership with Fender, and the company will make it’s home at be the 500-capacity, grade-II listed The Old Market music and promises a mix of the best emerging and established guitar talent in Europe today.

Previously announced acts include AJ Tracey, Crack Cloud, Connie Constance, Easy Life, girl in red, Indoor Pets, Jockstrap, Kara Marni, Kawala, Maisie Peters, Pip Blom, Self Esteem, SKYND and Yves Tumor.

The popular Beach stage - a beach-side arena to the east of the Palace Pier which was first introduced last year - will make it’s return and will feature three stages and it’s own bars ,food stalls, and pop up performance spaces.
