Fun and laughter aplenty and Littlehampton Town Show and Family Fun day

LITTLEHAMPTON is set to explode – with all the fun and laughter of the annual Town Show and Family Fun Day, this weekend.

This year’s event is celebrating its 10th anniversary and promises to be one of the biggest shows yet, packed with an array of attractions, performances and exciting displays.

The autumn bonanza, set to kick off on Saturday (September 8), will feature one of the UK’s top Blues Brothers tribute bands – The Rhythm and Blues Brothers – who will help get the crowds on their feet.

There will also be plenty of dynamic displays from some of the area’s top, dancing talent, including cheerleading extraordinaires from the Sussex Tornados, as well as performances by students from Dance Industry, Razzmataz and the Madeira Dancing and Singing Group, too.

The event, organised by Littlehampton Town Council, in conjunction with businesses and community groups in the town, will also host a number of family favourites, from the interactive pet farm with its goats, chickens and ducks as well as the free-to-enter pet show.

However, this could be the last time that the town show and the fun day will take part, side-by-side, after Conservative town councillors agreed to split the two events, earlier this year.

Campaigners from the Don’t Split the Town Show, which has already received more than 1,000 signatures backing their cause, will have its own stall for those wishing to pledge their support.
