Littlehampton diamond jubilee children’s tea party – how to apply for tickets

LITTLEHAMPTON Junior Carnival Queen Zoe Bridger and her flower girls Mia Bridger and Abigail Baker are preparing for a diamond jubilee party to celebrate the Queen’s 60 years on the throne.

And they would like to invite 150 children to join them at the party on Sunday, June 3, in the Manor House car park, Littlehampton, from 1-4pm.

It’s going to be a great occasion, with entertainment by popular children’s performer Smartie Artie, and lots of traditional party games for everyone to enjoy.

All children aged between four and 10 are invited to apply for tickets, but they are limited to just 150, so will be issued on a first come, first served, basis.

To find out how to apply for tickets, see this week’s (April 19) Littlehampton Gazette for full details, an application form and the first of two numbered vouchers – the second will be in next week’s (April 26) paper, and both must be included with the application form.

Families may apply for more than one ticket for their children, but each child needs to have a separate application made, with both vouchers.

Those who have been successful with their application will receive an official invitation to the party.

They will also have a chance to win a prize for the best jubilee hat at the party, so would-be guests can get their thinking caps on now.

Carnival organisers, including president Freda Hughes and the committee, would like to thank Littlehampton Town Council, The Fish Factory, F. A. Holland & Son, Apollo Taxis, Cuff Miller Ltd, H. D. White and Partners and Waitrose for sponsoring the event. Anyone else who would like to offer support should contact Freda, telephone 01903 716634.
