The first live session for 2016 is on February 26 when Rockin’ The Joint will play, a trio which has been around for 15 years now and have played for the club once before. There will also be a clothes stall put together by Doghouse Vintage should anyone want to dress in the fashion of the era, but otherwise just come dressed to be comfortable.

Eastbourne Rock’n’Roll Club first started 23 years ago but still boasts at least a dozen of its original members. Member Angela Johnson said: “It’s a friendly, happy club, great venue with a large dance floor, large carpark and between the Monday nights and the last Friday nights in each month, hopes to be bringing back nostalgia in the form of dancing for many years to come. The Monday night RnR Jive Evening also provides some tuition before the evening starts in earnest at 8pm. So in the words of Eddie Cochrane – C’mon Everybody!

The Horseshoe Inn is located on the A271 between Ninfield and Hailsham and the postcode is BN27 4RU.
