Live music makes it all go with a swing

This regular fourth-Sunday-in-the-month lunchtime session features some of the best jazz and swing musicians on the local scene - and it is free.

Led by jazz trombonist Duncan J Reeks the band play straight-ahead big band jazz which includes the music of Count Basie, Duke Ellington, Buddy Rich and many more.

As always the band’s regular vocalist Miss Georgie Collinson will be on hand to add some swinging vocals from the Great American Songbook with numbers by Rogers & Hart, Gershwin, Cole Porter and other celebrated writers.

This now extremely popular session is held at The Junction Tavern, 99 Station Road, Polegate.
