Local art group will be learning more about working in acrylics

Wannock Artists start their year by welcoming artist Richard Larkin who will be painting in the style of JMW Turner with his work entitled `Scenes along the Military Canal` which will be worked in acrylics.

This is a new subject for Richard and should please artists and visitors alike.

Richard trained in ceramics, and operated his own studio pottery in East Sussex for a number of years, but recently has been demonstrating and delivering workshops in acrylics and watercolours to art societies throughout the South East of England, Richard is also still exhibiting work in East Sussex, and has produced commissioned work for clients.
