All 22 year olds who grew up in the town, they are Alex Costello on lead vocals, Alex Adam on vocals and guitar, Sam Veness on guitar, Matt Roskilly on bass, and Charlie Pearson on drums.

Alex said: “We recorded our first EP at ICC studios with my dad who worked there. For the first four months of ROAM our fans consisted of our friends, but gradually it started picking up interest outside East Sussex. We planned our own weekender tours and travelled to them in Corsas. If ten people came to a show in Leicester we would be beyond happy. We did this for a while until we started getting interest off our second EP Head Down, in which we got offered to tour with Neck Deep. Which was just what we needed to get ROAM out there - from this tour we had interest from our record label, Hopeless Records...2016 is going to be a big year for us.”

The band plays live tomorrow night at Printers Playhouse to celebrate the launch of Backbone before setting out across Belgium, Germany, Poland, Italy, Switzerland and France before gigs back on these shores including Glasgow and Cardiff, Manchester, Newcastle and London.

The lads are used to being on the road however, having done two full US tours already, the first early last year supporting Set It Off on the Glamour Kills clothing tour, and the second was a headline run in November and December.

They have also done European tours, supporting the likes of All Time Low, Enter Shikari and State Champs across the continent, as well as six UK tours, supporting Neck Deep, Enter Shikari, State Champs, Man Overboard plus headline runs.

This next tour will be followed by the Kerrang! Magazine tour across the UK with genre legends Sum 41.
