Top classic trio's hunt for local choir
The highly successful trio Tenors Unlimited, the '˜Rat Pack of Opera' has launched a competition to find a choir from Eastbourne to perform on stage with them at the Royal Hippodrome Theatre, Eastbourne, on Friday March 18 at 8pm, as part of a nationwide tour, in their new show 'From Venice To Vegas'.
Jem Sharples from Tenors Unlimited says “The choir can be any age group. We’d like to encourage school and youth choirs to enter our competition. The choir should just love singing, can be one sex or mixed, sing their favourite song or two and be junior, senior and/or adult – we may choose more than one choir.”
To enter choirs should upload a video of singing one or two of their favourite songs to YouTube (but set as a private) and email the link to [email protected] so Scott, Jem and Paul can view it. This will not be shared with any third parties. The closing date is Friday February 5.
