IGNITE at Nymans - a spectacular trail of light, lanterns, fantasy and fire - will be the hottest ticket for a family fun night out in the Sussex countryside during half term.

Nymans, the National Trust property near Haywards Heath, will play host to this brand new outdoor after-dark experience from February 11 to March 6.

Set against a gloriously romantic backdrop, Nymans is a garden made for garden lovers, a place where creativity has flourished and quirkiness is celebrated.

So, it’s no surprise that the cherished grounds will play host to IGNITE’S fantastic new light trail, enabling visitors to wander between flickering flames and majestic trees, as lights dance from one amazing space to another.

Within this fiery interpretation of stars and spheres, illuminated flora and fantasy, there are moments of reflection and playful discovery set to a soundscape that will inspire and intrigue. Join with family and friends to immerse yourself in the shimmering effects of fire and light.

Try something new, expect the unexpected with fairies dancing in trees and fiery fish glowing at dusk. Glimpse woodland wildlife sculpted in willow as you stroll along tree-lined avenues into a winter landscape filled with wonder.

The new after dark adventure has been specially designed for visitors of all ages to enjoy.

IGNITE trails are brought to you by Sony Music and hosted by the National Trust. The trail is created by Culture Creative.

COVID-19 guidelines are being followed and processes are in place to maintain cleanliness and aid social/physical distancing.

Nymans is a grade II listed National Trust garden for all seasons, set around a romantic house and ruins to the east of the village of Handcross, West Sussex.

The garden was developed, starting in the late 19th century, by three generations of the Messel family, and was brought to renown by Leonard Messel. Famed for its internationally significant plant collection, Nymans is packed full of exotic species from around the world.

The National Trust is a conservation charity founded in 1895 that looks after more than 250,000 hectares of countryside, 780 miles of coastline and hundreds of special places across England, Wales and Northern Ireland.

TICKET PRICES: Advanced from: Adult £16.50/Adult plus parking £24.50; Child £12; Family tickets with a parking space - admits two adults and two children, plus one car parking space, £62 (selecting four tickets at £15.50).
