Village set for traditional fete and horticultural show

Capel Recreation Ground is surely the best place to be in Surrey on Saturday August 20 when over 600 classic cars and bikes will be on display right next to Capel’s traditional fete and horticultural show. Gates open from 11.30am.

There will be fabulous food and drink offerings, including delicious teas. Hobby and handicraft displays commence at noon alongside exhibitors selling home-made produce, crafts and plants. For the horticulturists, home bakers and hobbyists the grand marquee opens at 2pm.

Don’t forget to bring the pet pooch and enter the fun dog show which also starts at 2pm. Capel Show offers something of interest for all ages and loads of activities to keep children entertained and amused.
