Virtual pantomime for Eastbourne this Christmas
Sleeping Beauty will run from December 7-21 for schools and from December 21-31 for families.

Hide AdThey are partnering with The Royal Hippodrome Theatre and tech film company Smokescreen Visuals to bring Sleeping Beauty virtually from the stage of The Royal Hippodrome and straight into classrooms and school halls across the UK.
Spokeswoman Laura May Sivers said: “While many theatres are closed and pantomimes forced to cancel because of Covid 19, children across Sussex are missing out on the traditional Christmas show trip. Bigfoot Arts have come up with the perfect solution, filming their annual panto in the beautiful and historic Royal Hippodrome Theatre and making it extra special by asking for information from each school that books so that personalised jokes and surprises can be inserted into their copy of the film.
“Will the Prince find his way into the right panto? Will the baddies learn to let it go? And will good triumph over evil with a true loves kiss. Bigfoot Arts mix the best parts of traditional panto with unique and hilarious characters and popular music and dance tracks to create the perfect Christmas treat; schools can book their copy via the Bigfoot Arts website and this larger than life panto experience will also be available for families from December 21-31 for just £10.”
