Ariel has academies in Burgess Hill, Crawley, East Grinstead, Haywards Heath, Horsham and Shoreham.

Ariel’s founder and director Nicci Hopson said: “We are so thrilled to have been able to hold this event and raise donations for this special charity. With the restrictions in place due to Covid, we haven’t been able to fundraise how we usually would, so being able to give such a deserving charity this donation at the start of the year is such a joy. I am very proud of our students and their families for pulling together to make this happen.”

“Kangaroos is a registered disability charity, providing a range of fun, inclusive social and leisure activities in the local community all year round for children and young adults with learning disabilities and additional needs. This charity has strong ties to Ariel Drama Academies as several of their members attend Ariel’s thriving Othellos group, an inclusive performing arts class for children and young adults with special additional needs and disabilities.

“Ariel’s fundraising doesn’t stop there, with plans for an exciting, live-streamed, digital concert afoot. 15 Songs To Celebrate 15 years of Ariel Drama Academies will go out Live on their Facebook page at 7pm on Friday, February 12. Again, all donations will go to Kangaroos. To be kept up-to-date with more information, follow www.facebook.com/ArielCompanyTheatre.”
