Art gallery set to pop-up in Seaford

Twelve artists will display their work at a pop-up art gallery.

The Last Minute Artists Pop-up Gallery has been set up by a group of six artists who shared an exhibition at arts@thecrypt early in 2013.

Run on a voluntary basis for the benefit of artists and residents alike, the first of the pop-up events will be held this weekend, April 27 and 28, from 10am to 4.30pm.

Admission is free .

The group will be inviting other artists and makers to participate in weekend pop-up galleries throughout the year.

Look out for the distinctive ‘Last Minute Artists Pop-up Gallery’ banner outside the arts@thecrypt building at 23 Church Street, Seaford.

The group hopes to help arts@thecrypt develop an integral and central role in the artistic and cultural life of Seaford by ensuring that it is open to the public at least every weekend for the sale of affordable art.

Anyone wishing to be a Last Minute Artist should email or go to for more information.
