CELEBRATE: With Littlehampton Swimming Centre

THE whole town of Littlehampton is invited to celebrate the 25th birthday this week of an "institution".

Littlehampton Swimming and Sports Centre will be holding a family fun day on June 15, both at the Sea Road centre, and in Mewsbrook Park, next door.

Manager Vivienne Monahan said she hoped lots of people would help to celebrate the landmark birthday.

"It is a great way to celebrate the centre's 25th. We have some great activities running on the day, something for the whole family."

Taster fitness sessions will be on offer, as well as fun and games for the children, such as a climbing wall and a magic show.

Live music will be provided by the Littlehampton Town Concert Band and the Littlehampton Community School Steel Band.

There will also be a fun run, in aid of Chestnut Tree House children's hospice, as well as a pool disco and a football tournament.
