Christmas at Bedgebury 2025 will bring magical sparkle to National Pinetum 100th birthday celebrations
This year is an extra-special Christmas as Bedgebury National Pinetum celebrates its centenary with a truly memorable festive experience.
The after-dark adventure will transform the forest with over a million twinkling lights and seasonal sounds.


It will dazzle with a new reimagined trail and awe-inspiring installations such as the delicately enchanting ‘Light as a Feather’; the warming glow of ‘Floating Candles’, and the harmonious ‘Choir of Trees.’
Keep your eyes peeled for Father Christmas, as you can spot him on the trail, which will run this year from Friday, November 21 to New Year’s Eve, on Wednesday, December 31.

Christmas at Bedgebury combines award-winning dynamic lighting installations with a captivating soundscape.
The artistic displays set the scene as guests wander along illuminated pathways, where hidden surprises and the festive spirit are woven into every corner of the forest.
The Grade II listed landscape, considered one of England's best-kept secrets, hosts a world-leading collection of conifers. It will be illuminated by millions of sparkling festive lights and alive with sounds of festive cheer, so that you can feel the magic of Christmas as you stroll through this stunning setting with your friends and family.


Grab a seasonal snack from the Bedgebury café at the visitor centre or enjoy a festive bite from one of the carefully selected street food vendors.

Christmas at Bedgebury is brought by Sony Music in partnership with Forestry England and the trail is created by Culture Creative, award-winning, internationally acclaimed light trail producers, who are behind events such as Christmas at Kew and Christmas at Blenheim,
Bedgebury Pinetum creates resilient forests to address challenges such as climate change. It is managed by Forestry England, is just a 20-minute drive from Tunbridge Wells and around an hour from Canterbury, Brighton and Eastbourne.
The venue is just a 35-40 minute drive from Hastings, St Leonards, Bexhill and an hour from Eastbourne or Crawley.
Beyond a fabulous festive experience, Christmas at Bedgebury also supports vital conservation efforts at Bedgebury National Pinetum, helping to secure the future of tree species worldwide.
