CHRISTMAS SALE: At Worthing Library

WORTHING Library is hoping to become a stop-off for Christmas shoppers.

The library, in Richmond Road, is selling a variety of local prints, history books, maps and postcards in a special Christmas promotion.

Among the gifts are books on how to trace your family history and vouchers which can be used to pay for prints of original documents about family ancestors.

Pastime postcards and prints from the Walter Gardiner collection will also be on sale.

County councillor Brad Watson said: "If you have any genealogists or historians to buy for this Christmas, the selection of gifts at the library are ideal."
